We’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Institutional team in Paris. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers to help build and maintain systems that support trading and portfolio management for our institutional clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated developer eager to learn from industry experts and grow in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Duration: 6-month internship
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python that power trading, transfers and settlement.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to build high-quality, reliable software.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that follows best practices.
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and development workflows.
- Learn about cloud-based architectures, microservices, and distributed systems in a production environment.
- Contribute to the implementation of security best practices to protect sensitive financial data.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve code quality and processes.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Hands-on experience with Python in backend or web application development (personal, academic, or professional projects all count).
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and data structures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Interest in learning about messaging systems (NATS, Redis, etc.), and distributed architectures.
- Curiosity about the fintech or crypto industry—previous exposure is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
