Description
We're seeking an experienced Labeling Manager to lead our data annotation team and ensure high-quality labeled datasets for our AI computer vision models. You'll manage 15+ labelers working across various labeling platforms and drive high-quality outputs consistently to our clients.
What You'll Do
- Manage a team of 15+ data labelers across multiple labeling platforms, including onboarding, continuous training, and performance management
- Design, establish, and enforce quality standards for annotation accuracy and consistency through robust QA processes and regular audits
- Collaborate with AI/CV engineers to refine labeling guidelines and ontologies and consistently report relevant metrics
- Proactively identify and triage low-confidence AI outputs for human review and labeling
Requirements
- 3+ years managing data annotation or operations teams (5+ people)
- 2+ years experience with computer vision labeling tasks (bounding boxes, segmentation, classification)
- Proficiency with annotation platforms (strong preference for V7)
- Strong understanding of annotation quality metrics and QA methodologies
- Excellent communication and people/project management skills
- Data-driven approach to process optimization
Nice to Have
- 1+ year in Python/SQL for analyzing labeling metrics
- 1+ year proactively identifying patterns in low-confidence AI outputs and collaborating with ML teams on model improvements
- Familiarity with active learning and model-assisted labeling workflows
- Background in computer vision or AI/ML model development
- Proven project management experience, preferably coordinating data labeling workflows with AI/ML/engineering teams

Salary
$75,000 - $95,000 per year
