Description
What You'll Do
- Assemble and test hardware units before shipping them out to installation sites
- Assist with the maintenance of hardware assembly documents and tracking of material usage and assembly needs
- Maintain compliance with warehouse safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- Participate in the hiring, on-boarding, and training of new staff or partners as we continue to expand operations
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, and other electro-mechanical tools (multimeters, calipers, heat gun, etc)
- Solid organization and communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with embedded systems, real-time systems, or Linux, especially as it relates to data collection or self-driving systems
- Experience with CAD software (Autodesk, SolidWorks, Catia, etc) and prototyping (3D printing, sheet metal fabrication, vacuum forming)
- Experience with supply, production, and equipment tracking systems (BOMIST, odoo, etc)
- Knowledge of materials, machining, and other hardware creation processes and limitations
Salary
$20 - $25 per hour
