Chief of Staff to Founder
About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff to partner with a founder, entrepreneur, investor, advisor, and mother in a deeply integrated executive and strategic capacity.
This is not a traditional assistant role. This is a right-hand partnership for someone who can operate at altitude — anticipating needs, shaping priorities, creating leverage, and serving as a force multiplier across the Principal’s professional and personal ecosystem.
The ideal candidate brings strong business judgment, operational fluency, and proactive thinking, and is comfortable acting with autonomy in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. You will help translate vision into action, manage complexity, and create the systems and rhythm that allow the Principal to operate at her highest level.
Scope of Work
You will operate across:
Founder & executive operations
Investment and advisory activity
Entrepreneurial ventures and strategic initiatives
External relationships and communications
Calendar, priorities, and operating cadence
Schedule integration across the Principal’s professional and family life
Who You Are
You are a rare combination of:
Strategic thinker + operational leader + trusted confidant
You think like an operator, not a task-taker. You understand how senior leaders think, where friction hides, and how to proactively solve problems before they surface.
You bring:
Strong business training and professional experience
Exceptional judgment and discretion
The ability to anticipate, prioritize, and act independently
Comfort representing a Principal with polish and authority
Calm, grounded presence in complex or high-pressure situations
Pride in creating clarity, momentum, and leverage
You enjoy being the person who makes the whole system work better, not just faster.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership & Strategic Support
Serve as the Principal’s primary thought and execution partner on day-to-day operations.
Proactively manage priorities, bandwidth, and decision flow.
Anticipate needs, surface tradeoffs, and recommend next steps.
Conduct research, synthesize information, and prepare concise briefs to support strategic decisions.
Track initiatives, follow-ups, and commitments across ventures and relationships.
Maintain strict confidentiality and sound judgment at all times.
Calendar Ownership & Operating Cadence
Own and actively manage the Principal’s calendar as a strategic tool — not just a scheduling exercise.
Balance competing priorities across business, investments, advisory roles, travel, and family.
Design and maintain a sustainable weekly and monthly operating rhythm.
Ensure meetings are purposeful and well-run by requesting and compiling agenda items, sharing agendas in advance, preparing background materials, and manging participants, timing, and follow-ups
Business, Investment & Project Support
Support project management across Founder's brand, investments, media, real estate, and philanthropic initiatives.
Prepare materials, memos, and notes for meetings with investors, founders, advisors, and partners.
Liaise with accountants, attorneys, designers, and external advisors.
Keep workflows moving when the Principal is traveling or unavailable.
Communication & Relationship Management
Manage day-to-day communications with the Principal’s network.
Serve as a polished, thoughtful extension of the Principal in written and verbal communication.
Track follow-through and ensure commitments are honored.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through clarity and responsiveness.
Holistic Founder & Family Schedule Ownership
Coordinate schedules where the Principal’s family and professional life intersect.
Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them proactively.
Create clarity and predictability around family-related logistics without managing the household.
Travel, Properties & Logistics
Coordinate complex domestic and international travel.
Prepare detailed itineraries and travel briefs.
Interface with property managers and key vendors across multiple residences.
Maintain long-range planning calendars for travel and seasonal logistics.
Systems, Structure & Continuous Improvement
Build and refine systems that increase efficiency and reduce cognitive load.
Keep information organized and accessible across email, calendars, documents, and notes.
Identify operational gaps and proactively close them.
Continuously improve how the executive ecosystem functions.
