Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development using modern Javascript Frameworks, including recent experience in React. He or she will work closely with our design and quality assurance (QA) teams. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Work to deliver new features into the hands of customers
• Product Ownership: Take responsibility for core features while collaborating with a larger team.
• App Performance: Maintain a high standard of performance for new and existing functionality
• App Scaling: Contribute to the scaling of our application to match increasingly large and complex customer projects.

UX Collaboration: Provide a technical perspective to design during the implementation process

Qualifications:

• 7 years of front end development experience on complex web applications
• Demonstrated proficiency building highly interactive and performant React components
• Experience managing complex application state through libraries such as Zustand
• Ability to measure and evaluate performance concerns using chrome developer tools
• Familiarity with Typescript as a language for typed and maintainable codebases.
• Experience using AWS as a platform for hosting Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Maintains a solution oriented mindset when encountering novel or difficult issues
• Can consistently deliver quality features in a fast paced environment
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• A history of successfully working on remote teams
