This is a 3–6 month internship with a clear progression path: interns who perform well are offered the role of Junior Controlling Specialist (Associate) and continued collaboration after the internship period.
At AI Clearing, the finance team plays an active role in shaping the company's growth, not just keeping the books. We're a deep tech startup using artificial intelligence to transform how large infrastructure projects are managed, and our position on the market speaks for itself: we were named Startup of the Year 2025 by Money.pl and won the New Business category at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year gala. We work without corporate hierarchies, so from day one you'll collaborate directly with world-leading experts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the finance team in preparing financial analyses, reports, and summaries
- Preparing materials and documentation for internal finance processes
- Assisting with administrative and operational tasks
- Supporting grant and funding-related processes, including documentation, settlements, and requirement monitoring
- Organizing and archiving financial documents in line with company procedures
- Entering and verifying data in spreadsheets and financial systems
- Helping prepare budget summaries and monitor expenses
- Cooperating with other teams on document workflows
What we are looking for:
- Student or recent graduate, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Analytical mindset and comfort working with data
- Accuracy, reliability and strong attention to detail
- Good self-organization and ability to meet deadlines
- An interest in new technologies, particularly AI-based tools, and a desire to grow in an environment that uses technology every day
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, with flexible hours and in a hybrid model
Nice to have:
- Polish at a native or advanced level (much of our accounting, grant and administrative documentation is in Polish)
- Knowledge of Power BI
- First experience in finance, accounting or administration
By joining us, you gain:
- Employment for an internship period with the possibility of continued collaboration
- A real development path and the chance to gain hands-on skills in finance, working closely with experienced professionals
- Direct collaboration with experts and real impact on projects from day one, with no corporate hierarchy
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid model
- After completing the internship period: paid time off, a Multisport card, private health insurance, and the option to purchase company equity
- A negotiable rate, always above the national minimum wage
- The option to sign a student internship agreement
